SHENZHEN, China, April 22, 2026 — Walking the floor at FAIR plus 2026, it was hard to miss the crowd gathered around booth 9-W01. There, Rokae Robotics took the wraps off its latest embodied intelligence hardware, headlined by the first public appearance of the AR3 humanoid force-control arm, and reinforced its bet that whole-body manipulation is moving rapidly from lab curiosity to commercial reality.

AR3 Humanoid Force-Control Arm: Purpose-Built for Embodied Intelligence

The star of the showcase, the AR3, has been designed specifically for what Rokae calls the “embodied intelligence era.” As a standardized, high-performance, scalable AI hardware platform, the arm combines a lightweight build, a 7-degree-of-freedom cross-wrist anthropomorphic structure, and full-joint high-precision force sensing with highly dynamic force control. It can be integrated into service humanoids, wheeled dual-arm platforms, and other systems targeting homes, retail, corporate environments, and research labs.

Underpinning the AR series is Rokae’s in-house HSA integrated force-control joint, which packs a high-precision torque sensor into every joint. This gives the arm the ability to feel and respond to external forces quickly and with nuance—turning delicate assembly, precision insertion, and adaptive grasping from challenges into routine tasks. A zero-force drag teaching function simplifies programming without sacrificing safety, while a decade of proprietary motion control algorithms delivers a repeatability of ±0.1 mm even at a 1:2 payload-to-weight ratio.

    Key specifications at a glance:

    • Lightweight, 7-DOF cross-wrist anthropomorphic design
    • Full-joint high-precision force sensing and dynamic force control
    • Built-in zero-force drag teaching for intuitive deployment
    • ±0.1 mm repeatability with 1:2 payload-to-weight ratio
    • Payload family spanning 3 kg to 10 kg

Helios Wheeled Humanoid: Real-Time Teleoperation with Force Sensitivity

Nearby, a wheeled humanoid called Helios—built around dual AR5 arms—demonstrated high-precision teleoperation. With joint-level force control accuracy of ≤0.15 N, 1 kHz impedance control, and 32 kHz force sampling, the system faithfully reproduced the operator’s hand movements in real time while staying responsive to changing forces. The 7-DOF arms and cross-wrist design allow Helios to combine safe, compliant human-robot interaction with remote control and drag-teaching workflows, making it suitable for both factory floors and service environments.

    • Force control accuracy ≤0.15 N at the joint level
    • 1 kHz impedance control, 32 kHz force sampling loop
    • 7-DOF arms with anthropomorphic cross-wrist configuration
    • Real-time replication of fine hand movements
    • Supports teleoperation and zero-force drag teaching

    Open Ecosystem and Full-Stack Portfolio

Beyond the hardware on display, Rokae is making a clear play for an open ecosystem. Its full-stack portfolio—covering HSA joints, AR-series arms, and wheeled dual-arm robots—is meant to serve as a foundation for partners who want to build on top. The company is opening up hardware interfaces and high-level algorithm SDKs, and throwing its xCore control platform and xVision vision-control technology into the mix, along with years of process know-how and data collection experience. The goal is to connect a complete “hardware–data–models–scenarios” loop, letting partners focus on core algorithm innovation while Rokae delivers the physical backbone.

    • HSA integrated force-control joints, AR humanoid arms, and wheeled dual-arm robots
    • Fully open hardware interfaces and high-level algorithm SDKs
    • xCore control platform and xVision vision-control suite
    • Proven process expertise and data collection capabilities
    • End-to-end pipeline from hardware to real-world scenarios

An infographic or scene depicting Rokae’s commercial deployment of embodied intelligent robots across automotive, 3C, and new energy sectors, with over 10,000 units performing material picking and handling, highlighting global leadership in force-controlled manipulators.

Commercial Traction and Global Market Leadership

Rokae points to concrete numbers to back up its strategy: the company says it has already secured orders for more than 10,000 embodied intelligent robots, with deployments in material picking, inspection, and material handling across automotive, 3C, and new energy sectors. It also claims a leading position globally in shipments of force-controlled humanoid manipulator arms and in market share for force-control applications.

    • Over 10,000 embodied intelligent robot orders booked
    • Deployed in automotive, 3C, and new energy industries for handling, inspection, and picking
    • Global leader in force-controlled humanoid manipulator shipments and market share

    What’s Next: Scaling Embodied Intelligence

Looking ahead, Rokae plans to continue deepening its in-house technology while working with the broader supply chain to push embodied intelligence into more corners of industry. With high-performance AI hardware like force-control arms and joints as its long-term bet, the company is rapidly moving from prototypes to factory floors—and beyond.
